Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SC APOFIS SRL collects and uses your personal data when you visit www.solebeachwear.com, place an order or contact us. We process your data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian law.

What data we collect and why

  • Orders: name, delivery and billing address, phone number, e-mail address, order details and payment status. We need them to process and deliver your order, issue the invoice, and handle returns, exchanges, and complaints. Legal basis: performing the contract and our legal obligations (accounting and tax law).
  • Customer account: the data you enter when you create an account and your order history. Legal basis: performing the contract.
  • Newsletter: your e-mail address, only if you subscribe. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in each e-mail.
  • Messages: the data you send us by e-mail, contact form, WhatsApp or social media, so we can answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your requests, or taking steps before a contract.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: data about how you use the site (device, browser, pages visited). Cookies that are strictly necessary for the shop to work are always active. Analytics and advertising cookies (for example Google and Meta/Facebook/Instagram) are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings or the Your Privacy Choices page.

We do not request or store your full card details. Card payments are processed securely by the payment provider.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the shop, and only as much as they need:

  • Shopify, the platform that hosts our online shop;
  • payment processors (Shopify Payments and Netopia Payments), for card payments;
  • courier companies, to deliver your order;
  • our invoicing and accounting software and our accountant;
  • advertising and analytics partners (Google, Meta), only if you have accepted the related cookies;
  • public authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers (for example Shopify, Google, Meta) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, the transfer is protected by the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep your data

  • Invoices and accounting documents: 5 years, as required by accounting law;
  • Order data: for as long as needed to fulfil the order and handle returns, warranty claims and complaints, and at most 3 years after your last order;
  • Customer account: until you ask us to delete it;
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe;
  • Messages: up to 1 year after your request has been resolved.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing done before. To exercise these rights, write to contact@solebeachwear.com. We will respond within one month.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority: Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Sector 1, București, www.dataprotection.ro.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Our shop uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
